My best friend Patti

She has always been there for me...

All of my friends are special to me and i feel priviledged to know them all. Patti stands out for all the help and support she has always given me, she moved my whole house for me as i was 9 months pregnant with Luke, she took care of my children when i had to stay in England with Adam for an extra two weeks, she makes each of my children feel special to her.
Jeffrey wants to marry her when he is 16.

This is Wendy and Dennis, they were married last year and had their first baby Dionne in September of 2003. They live about an hour away from Cor and Ank, it is also Cor and Anks first grand child. We had some good times with Wendy when we first moved into the flat, lots of chatting over the back balcony.Thank you for spending the night , i know Wendy is not good at staying over....lol

My adopted Family

Bert Jean Shaun Geraldine Amie and Tracey

I have known Geraldine since we went to Ambrose Fleming school together. One thing that stands out with Geraldine is her hearty very loud laugh....lol We both got taken to one side on our first day by our Head Teacher Miss Davis and told we were going to be watched as our sisters Tracey and Susan were already known to her. We have been friends ever since and get together a couple of times a year.

This is Cor and Ank, i met them in July 1996 when i moved next door to them on the first floor of the flats in the Zaneveld. They have been such wonderful friends and neighbours, always there for me and the children, when i moved in August 2001 to the Lijsterlaan it felt like i left a piece of my heart with them. The kids are like their kids, they have been wonderful, you could not wish for better friends or neighbours, when i came home from the hospital one evening to pick up some clean clothes for Adam and myself  I found Cor with a mop doing my floor, Ank was looking after Luke Jeffrey and Sean and Wendy (their daughter) and her husband were taking orders for dinner, Wendy had come all the way from Utrecht to stay the night and take care of the children. I really don't know what i would have done without them. I am pleased to say that Ank has already been to visit us in England and they are both comming again in Feb 2004 for a weekend. They keep an eye on Sean my eldest son who still lives next door to them. They are brilliant!!

Sue Tracey Geraldine and Caron

This was taken last November when we got together for a reunion. Two sets of sisters, Tracey and Geraldine in the middle. They came over to Holland in Feb 2003 for a weekend of laughter and fun. We have such a laugh and enjoy spending time with each other, a friendship that has lasted 30 years so far.

Sean has known Niels since they started high school at the age of 12, he is a nice young man and well over 6ft tall!
He is always polite and i am very pleased he is friends with Sean. He joined the army at 17 and has been in for nearly two years now. He is going on holiday with Sean again this year.

nanandgrandad.jpg

This is Pam and Cyril my in-laws, most people call their in laws their out laws, but mine have been fantastic, they are always there to help out and the kids love spending time with them.
They are the best nan and grandad my kids could wish for, and the best in laws i could wish for. Every hospital visit I take Adam to, one of them comes with me and one of them stays behind to be there for Jeffrey and Luke, and the hospital visits are not close by, its a two hour drive right into the middle of London, A big Thank you to you both
